In this section, you will soon find a range of useful information regarding our curriculum.
We are enthusiastic about being curious, life-long learners at our school. We provide a broad, rich, relevant, and meaningful curriculum that we are very proud of.
Children have a thirst for learning at Fernvale and we are committed to nurturing young: writers, performers, readers, mathematicians, scientists, historians, geographers, artists, designers, musicians, sportspersons, and computer users. Children are actively encouraged to follow their passions whilst becoming holistic learners, well-equipped to reach their full potential.
The curriculum incorporates the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum 2014 and other experiences and opportunities which best meet the learning and developmental needs of the pupils in our school.

We are very proud of our lovely school library. Each week, all children have an opportunity to visit and take books home from the library. The children are responsible for keeping it tidy.
We have recently purchased a range of books that bridge the gap between picture books and longer chapter books.
We have created a poetry corner with a fantastic selection of poetry books.
We also have a new display of significant authors and we have bought a range of books for the library written by these authors.
