SCHOOL COUNCIL

The School Councillors have been elected and are already working hard. We have a notice board in the hall to meet us and see the work that we do.

Fernvale’s school council also takes an active role in supporting our learning through their contributions and fundraising ideas. The whole school takes an active role in support against bullying and all classes take part in the anti-bullying week every November.

ECO-COUNCIL

SPORTS AMBASSADORS

We have a group of Year 5 and  pupils that are our Sports Ambassadors. They have attended training at Gartree high School.  They are now equipped with the skills to promote sport at Fernvale and will be helping with various events and activities throughout the year.

PLAYGROUND LEADERS

We are excited to announce that 20 Year 5/6 pupils have successfully completed the Playground Leaders course, led by the South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership.  Our leaders have shown incredible dedication, teamwork, and leadership skills throughout the course. They are now equipped to make our playgrounds even more fun, inclusive, and active for everyone.  A huge thank you to the South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership for their guidance and support.  Year 5/6 pupils work as mentors during breaks in their role as playground leaders.
